Spring is just around the corner and we know you are getting the itch to ride. When thinking of Spring riding, we have to remember a few important safety rules.
1) It’s always a good rule of thumb to check your bike out for any flaws that could pose a problem when hitting the road. Check your tires, gears, lights and brakes. Make sure everything is in good working order before your ride too far from home.
2) Make sure you are prepared for bad weather, even if it is a short trip. You never know when a Spring rain will hit or gusty winds take hold. Prepare yourself with proper safety gear such as goggles, leather jackets, boots and GT 4150 Gore Tex All Season gloves, keeping the rain and wind out.
3) Watch where you are going. When you are enjoying your ride, you need to be attentive, scanning for other drivers and riders. Be safe!
We can’t wait to see everyone out on the roads, playing it safe in the unpredictable Spring weather. Make this season a memorable one. Wear warm weather motorcycle gloves as well.
